Highlights of Chicago Press is currently in the pre-publication process
for a social studies book on Chicago for 3rd called Our Chicago - People
and Places. This book will feature units on Chicago History, including
DuSable and Fort Dearborn as well as a unit on Chicago government. Mr. Turner is available to speak to audiences, school groups and to conduct tours. He especially likes working with young children to discuss Chicago history and culture with a highlight on Chicago neighborhoods, yesterday and today. |
